Are your marketing dollars as effective as they could be?

We work with people responsible for marketing at start-ups, medium sized companies and large corporations. The projects they are working on include product or service launches, identity and branding programs, advertising and publicity campaigns, direct response and lead generation programs and internet based marketing communications. Our services were designed for managers who want to improve the results of their marketing but aren’t sure what method will work the best.

Are some of these statements true for you?

“We’ve been doing some advertising but we’re not sure if we get any business from it. We’re trying to get our name out there so I don’t know if we should expect any calls. It does seem to be pretty expensive though”.

“Direct mail just doesn’t work for us. We put together a postcard that had a picture of our new building on it and one of our engineers wrote a description of the fantastic features we’ve built into our next generation product. We didn’t get one call. Direct mail doesn’t work”.

“We really don’t have a marketing plan we just try different things from time to time. A sales rep from a newspaper in our area convinced us to try running an ad with them so we tried that, not sure if anyone responded. The yellow pages called and said they would make up an ad for us so we’re doing that too. We’ll see what happens”.

“I don’t know what return I’m getting on the marketing dollars I spend. I guess the company probably spends around $50,000 per year on advertising and marketing. But I really don’t have any way of finding out whether it pays of itself or not”.

“Our web site is just an online brochure for our company. It cost a lot to put it up and maintain it but today you have to have a web site right? I don’t think it can actually bring in any new customers though”.
